This is truly all you need...
These two things will take you places you never imagined (in and out of the studio)
Curiosity and an Open Heart
If you're anything like me, you've had moments where you either count yourself out of something before you even give yourself a chance or done x,y,z perfectly and checked all the little boxes off your list of goals which should've made you happy and fulfilled, but somehow it didn't work out that way.
The thing about goals and check lists and thinking we know exactly how things will end up is they don't account for how we change and evolve along the way.
What if we can open heartedly step into an experience, knowing no matter how it turns out it will bring you closer and closer to things that truly aligned with you.
And I know it's funny to think that pole class can be life changing, but I think one of the coolest parts about pole is from day one you walk out doing something you never did before. That's a fucking win all day long! It didn't have to be perfect to be an accomplishment.
The more little things we pile onto our "Things I never thought I could do, but did it anyhow and survived" list, the more approachable the big things in life seem.
Your body holds so much wisdom and power and has so much to say. The key to tapping into it all is through movement. Just to see what's there and accept whatever the day brings with an open heart.
And it breaks my heart that so many people never give themselves a chance because they've convinced themselves they aren't strong/sexy/flexible/young enough to try.
All you need is an open heart and open mind! That's it!
Let curiosity guide you and stop trying to write your own ending before you even start. Curiosity leads the way to limitless exploration. The most amazing things in my life have happened because I was curious why I was feeling pulled a certain way, even when it made no damn sense to me at the time.
We're here to give you space to just hang out with your body and start to learn how to listen to it and appreciate it, to redefine your relationship with it, to reclaim it, to trust it, to fall in love with every inch of what makes you uniquely you (even if you never get perfect splits or decide you never want to go upside down).
XOXO,
Andrea
